Firstly, thank you for your time and effort here Marilyn.
#Infinite: “Having no limits or boundaries in time or space or extent or magnitude.”
Is the finite of time and the infinite of timelessness?
Timelessness: “A state of eternal existence believed in some religions to characterize the #afterlife.”
Now, is a state many people of the world perceives to be a state of God timeless?
A state of God is obviously of #infinite limitless variables.
A state of man, being limited to time mentally and physically, is obviously of the finite and limited variables.
So what would actually be called an afterlife from a timeless perspective view?
Consider this. In a timeless state, one is more alive than in a finite state, by far. One is certainly more aware, but only if a soul is still not of the finite. The afterlife in this case doesn't refer to death, but a state of ignorance determined by the limitations of the finite reality being experienced. Imagine being aware but then being unaware, you have just turned off the lights (life) and are now in the dark (death) trying to find your way.
If we keep thinking in the finite, we are going to stay fumbling around in the dark. How much destruction can be caused by fumbling around in the dark like this? Now, what is man doing again?
Many of us talk of #God or a God state, but only know how to perceive through finite perspectives? You certainly seem to have some understanding of the infinite in my mind Marilyn.
